Procurement and Contract Services, in conjunction with Hewlett Packard, is providing new high efficiency HP printers, free of charge, to campus departments in exchange for eligible old HP printers.  This is a phased program and exchanges will be made as new printers are available.  The application is on a first come, first served basis.  Applications will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.  The quarterly reviews will be Mar 31, June 30, Sept 30 and Dec 31 (subject to scheduling availability).

Benefits of the Program

  • Replace old, less-efficient printers at no cost to your department
  • New printers are Energy Star® qualified, provide 2-sided printing capability and utilize high capacity toner cartridges
  • Old HP printers and accessories diverted from landfills and recycled in the most responsible method

Applying for the program

Review the replacement printer specifications to see if your printer qualifies.

Your application will be reviewed to ensure there are no restrictions on the disposal of the old printer (s). 

Replacement Printer Specifications

New HP Model P2055d or P2055dn

The following models are eligible to exchange for a new HP P2055dn:

3100, 3150, 4, 4+, 4L, 4M, 4M+, 4ML, 4MP, 4P, 4V, 5, 5L, 5MP, 5N, 5P, 6L, 6MP, 6P, 6PXI, 8000, III

New HP Model P3015d or P3015dn

The following models are eligible to exchange for a new HP P3015d or P3015dn:

4Si, 4Si MX, 5 Si Series, 5M, 8000N, IIISi, IIISi MX

Warranty

Note: There is a one-year warranty on the new HP Printers. If you encounter a problem with your HP printer, please contact Trevor Smith at HP.
